This panel discusses the current and future projects of UNCITRAL Working Group V, ahead of its December 2021 session. Specifically, the panelists delve into how and why delegates are working to harmonize existing laws — including through the Model Law on Recognition and Enforcement of Insolvency Related Judgments, the Model Law on Enterprise Group Insolvency, and the colloquiums on civil asset-tracing and recovery in insolvency proceedings — and applicable laws in cross-border insolvency proceedings.
