The House Financial Services will hold two hearings this week to with one examining "rent-a-bank" schemes and small dollar lending, and the other providing a semi-annual review of the Consumer Protection Bureau. The full committee will hold a hearing tomorrow at 10 a.m. titled "Rent-A-Bank Schemes and New Debt Traps: Assessing Efforts to Evade State Consumer Protections and Interest Rate Caps.
