ABI is pleased to announce your 2008-2009 co-chairs, as well as the addition of five new leadership positions. These new positions are a result of your feedback regarding opportunities for involvement and advancement in the association. The first position is that of the Education Director, who will assist the chairs in coordinating and administering the educational programs each year at the Annual Spring Meeting and the Winter Leadership Conference, as well as any other educational projects. The second position is that of the Listserve Moderator, who will ensure that the committee has frequent and relevant listserve discussions. The third position is that of the Newsletter Editor, who will ensure that the committee publishes newsletters with original articles at least quarterly. The fourth position is that of the Membership Relations Director, who will communicate with committee members to recruit and facilitate involvement. This person will also make recommendations to the chairs as to members who are willing and able to serve in leadership positions or assist with other committee matters. The fifth position is that of the Special Projects/Task Force Leader, who will lead ad hoc groups as tasked by the chairs to perform special projects.
