
The prestigious ABI Corporate Restructuring Competition provides students from leading business schools an opportunity to solve a hypothetical realistic business case of a distressed company before an audience of experts in the turnaround/crisis-management/restructuring industries. Past winners include teams from Columbia Business School, The Wharton School, Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management, New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business, the Stanford Graduate Business School and Dartmouth College Tuck School of Business. Other competitors include Duke University Fuqua School of Business, Illinois College of Business, University of California – Berkeley Haas School of Management, University of Chicago Booth School of Business and the Yale School of Management.
The 2019 case competition will take place at the Gleacher Center at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Following the competition, a networking cocktail reception will be held to announce the winners and facilitate valuable interactions between student teams and industry professionals, further contributing to student development in the turnaround/crisis-management field.
