Alexandria, Va.— ABI announces that Stephanie Lieb of Trenam Law (Tampa, Fla.) has been selected for ABI’s “40 Under 40,” recognizing 40 of the top insolvency industry professionals under the age of 40. This year’s awardees will be formally recognized at ABI’s 2018 Winter Leadership Conference, taking place Dec. 6-8 at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Lieb is a shareholder with Trenam Law and primarily represents businesses and financial institutions in matters related to bankruptcy and creditors' rights. She is Board Certified in Business Bankruptcy Law and has represented a diverse array of clients, including purchasers, fiduciaries, landlords and lenders, both within bankruptcy court proceedings as well as pre-bankruptcy workouts and restructurings, judgment-enforcement proceedings, commercial foreclosures and other commercial real estate matters.
Chambers and Partners USA observed that Lieb “is characterized as ‘a hard worker’ by market sources, who highlight ‘her excellent technical knowledge and extraordinary deal-making skills.’”
Lieb previously clerked for Hon. Catherine Peek McEwen and was acting judicial law clerk to Hon. Michael G. Williamson in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida’s Tampa division. She is actively involved in several professional associations, including serving on the Executive Council of the Business Law Section of The Florida Bar, and she is fluent in Spanish.

The “40 Under 40” winners are distinguished by professional achievements and service and were selected by a group of experienced professionals from ABI’s current leadership. Nominations were submitted via the initiative’s website, through which professionals nominated themselves or a colleague. Membership in ABI was not required, and more than 200 candidates were evaluated. Those selected were chosen from both large and small firms from every region of the country, and represent diverse practice areas such as law, finance, accounting, consulting, academia, government and more.
