Alexandria, Va. — The American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) announces that Jason Brookner of of Gray Reed & McGraw LLP (Dallas) has been elected to ABI’s Board of Directors. An ABI member since 1995, Brookner is a regional development fundraising co-chair for the ABI Endowment Fund, sits on the advisory board of ABI’s Southwest Bankruptcy Conference, is a former co-chair of ABI’s Commercial Fraud and Technology & IP Committees and is a frequent speaker at ABI events. He will serve a term of three years on the 60-member ABI Board of Directors.
Brookner has substantial experience representing and advising companies, buyers, creditors, trustees, committees, lenders and other constituents in all aspects of distressed, insolvency and restructuring scenarios.
