Liability of Advisors and Office-Holders, Distressed Lending Trends and More to Be Discussed at ABI's 12th Annual International Insolvency Symposium in Amsterdam on October 7

Alexandria, Va. — The American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) will hold its 12th Annual International Insolvency and Restructuring Symposium on October 7 in the Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam, Amsterdam, Netherlands. The educational program has been developed to provide attendees with an interactive learning experience led by a faculty of prominent international insolvency practitioners and jurists from the Netherlands, Belgium, the U.K. and U.S. Sijmen De Ranitz of RESOR NV (Amsterdam, Netherlands), an insolvency expert for the International Monetary Fund, will keynote the symposium, sharing his views on global restructuring in and out of court. De Ranitz's career as an international insolvency lawyer has spanned four decades, and he is a former president of INSOL International. The advisory board for the program is chaired by Ian G. Williams of RSM Restructuring (London, England).
