Alexandria, Va. — ABI and the University of Kansas City School of Law CLE are pleased to present the 36th Annual Midwestern Bankruptcy Institute at the Westin Kansas City at Crown Center, Sept. 29-30, 2016! This year’s program features business, consumer and professional development tracks at affordable pricing, so you can get the exact training you need. With 17 bankruptcy, district and circuit judges rounding out sessions covering everything from Rash, 1111(b) elections, disclosure issues, individual chapter 11s and WARN Act claims among other timely topics, this is the CLE/CPE event of the Midwest! Attendees have the opportunity to earn up to 12 hours of CLE/CPE credit and 3.6 hours of ethics credit. The program will also feature a Great Debates featuring debates between consumer and business experts as well as a judges debate! Attendees will also be treated to the “Bankruptcy Law Round-Up” that will be held in a “speed-dating-style” roundtable discussion of current bankruptcy and practical skills issues, with regional judges, trustees and academics changing tables every 15-20 minutes.
