Alexandria, Va. — The American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) announces that Eric W. Anderson of Parker, Hudson, Rainer & Dobbs LLP (Atlanta) has been elected to ABI’s Board of Directors. An ABI member since 1995, Anderson has been an advisory board member of ABI’s Southeast Bankruptcy Conference and a contributing author to the ABI Journal. He will serve a term of three years on the 60-member ABI Board of Directors.
Anderson concentrates his practice in bankruptcy, workouts, financial restructuring and commercial finance. He regularly represents banks, financial institutions, secured asset-based lenders, investors, trustees, debtors-in-possession, and other parties in bankruptcy and financial restructuring matters. He is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy (Eleventh Circuit Council; Chair of Eleventh Circuit Educational Programs and Law School Outreach Committee) and is a member of the State Bars of Georgia (Bankruptcy Section) and Wisconsin. Anderson has been named a “Leading Lawyer for Business” by Chambers USA, and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and in Who's Who Legal: Restructuring & Insolvency. He received his B.A. with distinction from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1982 and his J.D. cum laude from University of Wisconsin Law School in 1986.
