</p><h3>ABI Welcomes New Meeting Planner</h3>
<p>Jennifer Dannemiller joined our staff in August as a meeting planner. She has five
years of event planning experience, most recently as the manager of training
administration for an international insurance association. She also has experience in
teleconferences, satellite broadcasts and other types of distance learning. Jennifer is
a graduate of the University of California-Santa Barbara.
</p><h3>Annual Report Wins Prestigious Award</h3>
<p>The 2000-01 <i>ABI Annual Report and Calendar</i> earned the Silver Inkwell
Award from the International Association of Business Communications as an
outstanding example of design and communications excellence. The publication was one
of two honored from nearly 300 entries in the design category. ABI will receive
the award during a cermony on Sept. 13 at the National Press Club in Washington.s
