American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) has released the

EU Insolvency Regulation. The book was written by Prof. Bob Wessels

wrote the first edition in 2003 after the European Union’s
insolvency regulation was implemented in May 2002, replacing a number of

Regulation on Insolvency Proceedings

primer that covers jurisdictional issues, “winding-up”
procedures such as the appointment of a liquidator, recognition of
judgments, creditors’ rights and other provisions. This book is an
