FUND RECEIVES PRODIGIOUS CONTRIBUTION FROM THE BAYARD
FIRM

Alexandria, Va.
— The Bayard Firm has agreed to make a
$50,000 contribution to the American Bankruptcy Institute Endowment Fund

- representing the largest single gift ever contributed to the Endowment

Fund – in celebration of the firm’s 50th anniversary in
2008. The Bayard Firm’s contribution will be recognized during a
ceremony at ABI’s Annual Spring Meeting, set to take place April
3-6, 2008, in

“Bayard is very pleased
to celebrate its 50th Anniversary by contributing to the ABI Endowment
Fund,” said Charlene D. Davis, a director with Bayard.
“The Endowment Fund promotes education, research and new
perspectives in the evolving field of bankruptcy law. Bayard’s
gift to the Fund reflects the firm’s continuing professional
commitment to the Fund’s goals and to constant improvement in the
administration of justice.”

The ABI Endowment Fund was
created in 1989 to provide a secure financial base for the Institute and

to provide resources for insolvency research and education. Projects
eligible for Endowment funding include research by individuals or
entities relating to bankruptcy or insolvency; surveys or other
analytical investigation; the education of judges, court personnel,
other governmental personnel and the general public; scholarships or
other educational grants; support for the Robert M. Zinman Resident
Scholar; and support for both the Chief Judge Conrad B. Duberstein
National Bankruptcy Memorial Moot Court Competition and ABI’s
Corporate Restructuring Competition. Since 1998, the Fund has awarded

Over the last decade,
Bayard’s Bankruptcy Group has participated in nearly every
significant bankruptcy case in Delaware, providing services to debtors,
creditors, committees, purchasers, trustees, lenders and shareholders in

both chapter 11 and chapter 7, as well as state receiverships and
