SIXTEENTH ANNUAL BANKRUPTCY BATTLEGROUND WEST SET TO

— More than 150 practitioners are
expected to attend the American Bankruptcy Institute's (ABI’s)
sixteenth annual Bankruptcy Battleground West conference, scheduled for
February 22, 2008, at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel,
w:st='on'>Santa Monica,
w:st='on'>Calif.
The day-long conference, titled

“Lost in Translation: Same Code, Different Views,' offers
up to 5.0 hours of CLE
credit. The program will also include a luncheon presentation by ABI
Resident Scholar Prof. Mark S. Scarberry of the Pepperdine School

of Law (Malibu,
Calif.
) on statutory
interpretations and the rule of law. The roster of speakers at this
year's conference features experts from across the region.
