Prof. Margaret Howard of Washington
& Lee

) has been
elected to ABI’s Board of Directors. A
n active member since
2002, Prof. Howard is a former ABI Robert M. Zinman Resident Scholar
(Spring 2002) and participates in the activities of ABI’s Asset
Sales Committee. She will serve a term of three
years on the 60-member ABI Board of Directors.

A professor of
Law at Washington &
Lee

since 2001,
Howard’s teaching focuses on bankruptcy, commercial law and
contracts. She is the
John W. Elrod Law Alumni Association Fellow
in Teaching Excellence and a member of the American Law Institute. She
is also the author of the ABI publication Bankruptcy Overview.
Prof. Howard received her J.D. from the
w:st='on'>Washington

w:st='on'>University
in 1975 and B.A. from
w:st='on'>Duke
w:st='on'>University
in 1969.
